Resilience is developed when you do something because you said you would, even if you do feel like it. It's built when you step out of comfortable, a sure fire path to a mediocre life. We want you to live a radiant life full of adventure and heart. To do this we must put ourselves in uncomfortable situations. We do so by pushing the limits in the gym, tackling a new skill, getting outside in the elements, and working on ourselves as a human. All of these make us a better version of ourselves, builds resilience, and propels us to new heights. Resilience Confidence Courage Freedom Our Resilience Challenge is likely the most simple, yet the most difficult, of all the RCCF challenges. Not only will it test your resolve, but it will make you extremely uncomfortable. This is by design. When you are uncomfortable, yet able to mentally overcome the sensation, you can find a deeper peace, cultivate patience, and become more resilient to the challenges life will inevitably throw at you. Not only that but the physiological effects are pretty great too. Cold exposure significantly increases resting energy expenditure, whole-body glucose utilization, and insulin sensitivity through its effects on brown adipose tissue.
